During World Defense Show 2026, Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd. and Petroleum Vision Contracting Company (PETRO-V) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore cooperation in defense projects supporting the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF). This partnership combines Hanwha Ocean’s global naval expertise with PETRO-V | Petroleum Vision ’s EPC capabilities and SAMIF Heavy Steel Fabrication advanced heavy steel fabrication capacity to strengthen in-Kingdom execution.

Aligned with the localization objectives of GAMI, the cooperation aims to:
* Develop a robust local defense supply chain
* Enable participation of specialized Saudi companies
* Enhance industrial localization and sovereign capabilities
* Support long-term strategic defense manufacturing in the Kingdom
